Hate to say it but we're in the 70's in California. We need some of your water. I hate the cost of property out here. But I love to boat all year long.

That might not define the Ct guys, like Bob and Kevin, and if we go back to Block, well you get it.

Either way I'll do a PM on the blender!!

JM

I think we have seniority on our side. They can call theirs Northeast Or New England (NoONE for short).

PM,... Post Mortem? Sorry to hear that. I liked that blender.

Post mortem, gees, PM as in preventive maintenance, I wouldn't want a failure during happy hours and hours.

Hi all,

For what it's worth, buzzards bay, possibly New Bedford harbor would be a very different choice, and the city has tons of resturants, shops, a whaling museum, lots of historical stuff to do.

Before or after a rendezvous, folks could easily run to Cuttyhunk, Marthars Vineyard, Nantucket, Hyannis, block island, tons of nearby ports and coves.

Maybe next year.

A lot of my customers think it means Post Mortem. At least that's how they treat their equipment.

Hi all!

We certainly understand that not eveyone can make it to Greenport, and there is nothing in the way of other get togethers during the season. Feel free! The east end of LI, Block Island, and Ct have been venues in the past and appear to work out for many folks in area based on the turnout.

So to keep this year on track, we need to firm up slip reservations and food arrangements. I need your info if you plan to come to the Northeast E rendezvous at Brewer's Greenport. I would like finalize the list by April 10 at least for slips, becausethe marina slips are in high demand.

If you plan to come to Greenport, please send me a PM or email with the dates you need a slip, the name of vessel, vessel LOA, beam and draft, your name, address and tel number.

Happy Easter and Passover wishes to my friends here!!

Thanks

All My Info is the same as in the past 14 years :D

I know you got my # :p

Don't forget about my 50% off Customer Support discount!

I don't know how tight things are at Brewers but have you seen/tried Mitchell Park Marina in
Greenport?
It's really nice, no wave action, new docks, concerts in the park etc, etc. We've stayed there several times & highly suggest it!
As far as NYC, Coffee colored water, pilings floating by at 5kts, Hudson River white fish. yuck! It's only a 40 run for us but with the ice ripping apart marinas, pulling pilings out & ripping lose anything that hasn't moved in 40 years, I'm not headed in that direction for a while. Kidding aside (yuck), everyone should be really careful this spring, summer. There is going to be lots of stuff floating out there. I know at my winter marina, they literally lost (as in gone) lots of pilings due to the ice pulling them out.
As far as another destination for another rendezvous, what about Essex Is. Marina? It's a little closer or better yet, Northport is a favorite for us, only a 40 min run, nice Town.

Hey gang!
Just curious about everyone's plans? Who's going? Do I need to do anything else or bring anything in particular?
We are going to be there with our 13 year old son, his friend, our 10 year old daughter & her friend plus the wife and I. I'm planning on Block Is. or Montauk either two days before or two days after Greenport. Just waiting to make the plan when I see the 7 day forecast & will either go before or after the run.
Anyone else interested in a couple of days in Block before or after?

Hi Dave, I'm going to be at Block Thursday afternoon (July 30th) and leaving Friday for Greenport. Staying at Payne's. Will have a gaggle of kids 9 and under in tow as well.

Hi Guys!

I am getting a list together for our HOF NE Rend dinner on August 1. We are looking at either catering or a sit down. Send me your best guesstimate of attendees for dinner ASAP. If you sent me boat info, then I gave it to the marina and will get you a slip reservation confirmation info next week. I will let you know the cost for dinner and will collect the funds ahead of time.

Send me a PM ASAP if you did not ask me to get you a slip and need one!

So far I have slip reservations for the following:

End of the Line
Avenger
Sharon Jean
Mirage
Idall Time

Thanks!

See you soon!!!

Heya Captain! - Count Mirage in for 2 adults, 3 kids, 1 infant (high chair). Thank you very much for organizing. Get me good and sauced and I'll probably volunteer to organize next year's.

Hey Nick
We will have two adults and four kids. My 10 y.o. daughter, 13 y.o. son and two friends 10 & 13 as well.

Hey guys. Glad this bubbled to the top. Are there still slips available at this late date?

I'm working on my admiral to make it for the weekend. I'll update within the next couple days. Our daughter is getting married Aug 29 so the admiral is a bit tense and could use a weekend off.

Hi Bob,

I have your info from last year and will check on a slip tomorrow. I think we can get you a spot!

Congrats on the upcoming wedding!!!

I will PM my cell number to you.

Nick

Nick,

You can put me down for a slip, arriving Friday.

For dinner at this point 4. If that changes I'll let you know.

I will host the cocktail hour on Friday at 1830 hrs.

Cocktail hour attendee's should bring thirst, morals optional!

JM

Hey Glory!
I've seen your boat for many years! How long have you owned it? We go across the sound regularly to Northport on spur of the moment overnights on the Town dock but I think you used to spend a lot of time in the Sand Hole? I might be really confused but didn't your boat get hit by lightning there many years ago? It might have been a similar boat but I definitely have seen Glory all over the place.
We are just across the way in Greenwich & keep my 50 Hatt convert. "Idall Time" at Riverside Yacht Club.
It will be nice to finally meet in Greenport!

No lightning, and not much Sand Hole. Just visited your Club, delivered 31 ladies for cocktails. And have the boats 12 years.

See you in Greenport.

Nick
