Hello- The Admiral wants to remove the original lamps (32v) because the bunks are a tight fit and you can hit your head on them, plus they're hot. I can't really argue this one even though I like the original look. Any suggested sources for updated lamps? LED preferably?

What was used originally on the bowsprit in 1976? I have 1 1/4" socket in the bowsprit and it looks like a 48" pole will clear the railings for our club burgee. I'd like to go with Mahogany but am not sure of the length or if Hatteras used round vs. streamlined staffs. Thanks-
