Hatteras Zippo Lighter

Hello, i inherited a neat Hatteras Zippo lighter from my father who lived in High Point, North Carolina and was a friend of Willis Slane, who gave my dad the lighter. I have no use for the lighter but I thought some Hatteras owner might be interested in purchasing the lighter before I list it on Ebay. Email me and I can send you a picture. The lighter is stainless steel and the Hatteras logo is on a brass background. Thanks.

Yeah, but $100 was worth $100 last year. Based on the prices of Hatt's lately, I'd guess the lighter is worth about $10.

Hi I am the original poster. If I list the lighter on Ebay, I will probably put a minimum of $100. If I can't get at least that much, I will probably keep the lighter. All the ones I have seen before have a blue background behind the Hatteras logo. Mine is bronze behind the logo. I think it looks a little more expensive than the blue ones, in any event it is a little different.

Hi Golftrek,

Thanks for letting us know it's on eBay.

One suggestion though. Update the listing with a clear, well focussed photo of the lighter in decent lighting.

I had a look and can't actually make out that it says Hatteras on the side as I presume it does.

Best to take a couple of photos maybe a side shot with the logo and one with the lid open so people can see it better.

You'll stand a much better chance of getting bids and a decent price.
