New to this group. I am a lifetime boater looking at a 1980 53c that is screaming for help. Dose anyone have a contact at Hatteras for build sheets and engine information?
we've been looking for a boat, and my search found your boat for sale on craigs list. Too bad we're over in New Hampshire USA, as your boat is exactly what we're looking for. No way we could afford to ship her over here. She looks very nice. Just wanted to say good luck with your sale.

I am sorry it took so long to get back to you.... yes, it is Hard Day's Night are you familiar with it? Andy S
1984 53’ Hatteras motoryacht, systems monitoring at helm. Bilge light on, no alarm. Boat is in building. Bilges are dry. All 4 high water level switch floats are in down position, made sure were clean. Could this light on no alarm horn condition be indicating a faulty switch? Or something else? Looking for any advice from someone who has maybe run into this before? And if indicating a faulty switch, any recommendations on how to determine which one?
Hi, are you the owner of that Hatteras 70 ED in your foto gallery? If so, could you help me with some infos on speed, range and such? I am about to acquire a HAtteras 70 series 1 and would appreciate such details for doing a consumption calculator for it. Also it would be interesting what propeller dimensions you are running.
I assume the boat still has the original 12V71 TI with N90 injectors @650 shaft hp?

Best regards

Bernd

Hi all, I’m presently in the process of buying a 1983 Hatteras Sport Fisherman Express. This Hatteras is powered by MerCruiser 350’s. There are no trim tabs since they were considered an option for this express. If I were to put them on do you think I would obtain better fuel consumption, better speed and planing time. I would appreciate your comments. Thank you, John
I appreciate all of the help that people are willing to share. We are 1 year into a 2 year plan that will have us living on a ~60' trawler October 2023.
Greetings! Since we both have 54's, I wanted to say hi and ask where you're homeported. We're in Fort Myers, FL and have owned Pau Hana just shy of 2 years. I've had my share of challenges, but so far have overcome most of them including removing the CrusAir AC's and installing 3 stand-alone units, and chasing a mystery leak in the salon from the upper helm that the prev owner gave up on and just lived with. Look forward to hearing from you! My direct email rwaldrop13@gmail.com
