Hello All,
Just learning how to post messages and attach photos, all new to me... and with no instructions.... has been trial & error. Please let me know if I'm doing something incorrect with it.
Anyway, for the last several months I have been reading everyone's posts & looking at all the photos in my quest for info on the restoration project I have undertaken with the former "Lorelei IV" now "Lady Beatrice". I must say, this forum is very informative and it's members very helpful to each other.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here and becoming a more active member.
Thank you,

Good morning to all,
Although I have been a member for a while, this is my first post (hope i'm doing it correctly).
I will be taking ownership of a 1965 Hatteras 50 and finding it impossible to get even a qoute on insurance. Any suggestions?

I am looking to buy a 1973 Hatteras 38 Double cabin. Any suggestions from anyone? It has Cats 3160 engines with about 1500 hrs. It has been stored on the hard for 3 years.
HI,
Sorry, just saw you reply. I will post it and sort through the answers! lol I have to buy a new wildcat from Galley Maid to increase the chain from 1/4 up to 3/8". They never maid a wildcat to accept chain to rode. Im trying to find out if an ideal wildcat might fight somehow.... Just make life easier on my wife and I and not have to buy a new windless!
Sorry it took so long to answer your message I just saw it tonight. I have 400’ of 3/8 chain and never come close to using it. We are in the Delta where the water is only about 30 feet deep. What you are planning sounds good but I’m the wrong guy to ask being we never Anchor in the ocean. I’d post the question and expect 10 different answers. Good luck.
I have a quick question for you. I am about to get some 3/8 anchor chain (changing wildcat from 1/4-3/8). We will be in the bahamas a lot and for chain I was thinking of getting 150' (approx. 600lbs). What are your thoughts? I am also going to have some rode maybe 300 feet with 10' chain. thinking 3/4 or 7/8. What do you think and recommend?? Thank you!

Hi Bwwhaler, I have a '67 Hatteras 28C I am rebuilding currently. I really appreciate the photos you have.
I see your hailing port is Fourchon. I keep my 46HP behind port commission in the summer time. I'm from Golden Meadow. You from the area?
