The ship's wheel and the knobs were actually on my boat when I bought her. I've got the original knobs in a box in my basement. (Just can't let those old parts go). These knobs have a nice feel in the hand when operating the boat.
Here are a couple of shots of mine. Yes, the PO was a pilot and REALLY liked depth finders.
Other than those two aircraft gauges, mine are all original Hatteras gauges. The VHF, hailer, and stereo are in drop-downs overhead. I keep my chartplotter in portable mode.
My first North Atlantic crossing was with a Global series I and a Litton 51 neither of which had a data base. All LAT AND LONG. drift was 1NM per hour.

Now you check celcal and go back to reading the paper!
I see you switched out the steering wheel. I have the same one you do but not on the boat. I took it off a Searey that was being parted out. I like how it looks on your helm. Nice addition.
I could not get the helm in but i got a lot of work in the gages going into the engine room all neat and working both port and starboard. All are mechanical. The switches are for the engine room lites and the masorator pump in the fish box and underwater lights, electric fuel gauges lower. I can check everything from the cockpit as well as stop and start. Just finished installing lower controls in the cabnet. No pick but eskimo ice machine remote controls are on the other wall. It allowes me to fish and be in control at the same time. My lower helm

Hurleys work was truly incredible. The wiring that you didn't see was absolutely perfect bundled run on right angles no twists. The guy that painted the towers and tops was a motorcycle frame painter. There were no runs overspray thin spots just perfect.
