The plans for the 2012 Block Island Rendezvous are coming together. The dates are August 4th and 5th.

We will be staying at Payne's and Glory Be is working out the slips for us at his home port there!

We will have dinner at the The Narragansett Inn adjacent to Paynes and waterside on Saturday August 4th. Dinner will be indoors, there may be cocktails outside.

Mixed Green Salad
Clam Chowder
Rolls/butter


Prime Rib
Chicken Marsala
Pistaccio Crusted Cod
Boiled Red Potatoes
Season Vegetables

Dessert:
Watermelon
Assorted Mini Pastries

Includes soft drinks, coffee and tea service.


The dinner cost is $57 per person and includes the tax and gratuity.
There will be a cash bar.

I need to get a firm head count by April 30 and commitment. Please send me PM with the name of your vessel, LOA, Beam, address, tel number and number of persons for dinner.

We will work out payment arrangements with the Inn and get back to you as we get closer to date of the trip.

Talked with Nick last night said he had most of the normal members. If you have not contacted Nick and have Interest in coming do it now.

We will also be putting the dock reservation together ASAP as said its at Payne's be aware there will be some rafting, and no guarantee we will be side by side do too the order we come in. Its not that big so will will be close enough.
If your going to anchor, mooring or do something else let us know so we are not wondering.

Bruce will be there all summer in Payne's Glory Be 52' sport fish with tower look him up!

Dan-thanks-I will stop by his boat. I have been going to Block since 1978-several times a year-got a pretty good feel for the Island. At first used to stay at town docks in Old Harbor. Then at Paynes and Boat basin at New Harbor.Now as I am less of a party animal-I am on the hook ! Mix
