Burger makes a fine yacht. Their website is www.burgerboat.com

You will find that the older Burgers are very similar in design to the older Hatteras. This is because many of them share the same naval architect, Jack Hargrave. Also, most of the older Burgers have 2-stroke Detroit Diesels as well which is a GOOD thing. :)

We had a older Burger Boat docked behind us. It had a nice setup but lots of woodwork. Don't get me wrong, brightwork is nice if someone else maintains it. There is a old dockmate of mine that has a Guy Couach which I found to be worthy of praise, so those may be worth looking at. It has 2 smokers as well......

Skycheney I looked at the web site you gave me for burger but they do not have a place to ask questions about their boats so I thought I woudl come back on here to see if I could ask more questions. I think I will stay with Hatteras and saw a 69 foot boat on the other yacht world place but can not find it any where here but it may be to old for me any way so I am still looking around. Does any body have a 69 foot Hatteras on here? Thank you. I think I am okay with two strokes now my son says they are okay and so do most of you on here.

Hatteras never made a 69 footer. It may be a smaller boat that was lengthened. This is a common practice, especially if the owner buys a motoryacht style and later wants to add a cockpit.

I think you will be happier with a Hatteras. They are all fiberglass and require less maintenance than an aluminum Burger.
