Decided to tackle the leak in forward middle window. Looks to have been resealed in past as no foam between glass and frame like side fixed windows.
It looks like original sealant used was white butyl rubber between aluminum frame and house, which seemed to be in good shape. Black butyl rubber between glass and frame, with some type of caulk around edge of glass with a extruded rubber outer trim.
I remember some of the posts about this and think I would like to go back without the rubber trim if possible.
Looking for recommendations for sealing frame to house and then glass into frame?
The people that cut the glass say they would use DOW silicon structural glazing sealant for both joints that they use on frame less windows. Holding off for now on giving them the go ahead.
