On the glasses, we phased those out a while back because we had so many problems with them getting broken in shipments. However, I may have a set laying around that we can provide you with.

Send an email to service@deeprivertraders.com and let them know you are interested in getting a set (or the number you need) with a phone number to call. We'll see what we can do!

Thanks!

Thanks Doug just sent a email!
I am sure you'll let us all know when you get some tee shirts done :D

Well I'm "out" for this years boat show :(

I just found out that "The Admiral" is kidnapping me for this weekend as its our anniversary (our 36th, and I can say that 5 of the happiest years of my life have been spent with her  ).

We already had made arrangements to move her Dad into the apt. that is here at our marina on the weekend of the 17th (He's 91) so that weekend is out.....

But there is the Dania Marine Flea Market next month ..........
You did not comment on the other 31 years LOL :D , also I sense a mutiny in the making, since kidnapping the captain is a hanging offense, LOL

Okay, I trying to make plans. I fly into Ft Myers on Tuesday and my week is open right now. So, what day should I attend the show? I think one day of you guys will be enough. I just have to decide what day to come over. When is everyone going to be there? I'd like to meet some of you characters in person, so give me the scoop.

Hey Sky...My wife and I are also flying in to RSW, the Ft. meyers airport on Thursday. Unity is at Moss marine just over the bridge into Ft. Meyers Beach. Actually about 1000 ft. NW of the bridge. We will get there about 2030 or so and we will be there until March 1. I would love to shake hands if you have the time. my cell is: 313-701-1179.

Thanks Maynard. We'll be staying on Marco Island until the 20th. I will try to get up your way, but I'll give you a call first.

Hey Chris,
I survived the weekend! The Admiral booked a room on the ocean complete with in-room hot tub.
On our first date back in 1970, I took her fishing. If she had a problem with fishing or boating, there would of been no second date.
SHE was the one back in 2000 that said "Lets sell the house and move onto a boat like we've always talked of doing".
Think I'll keep her..

Miami Boat Show Cocktail Party?

If we can generate enough interest, Ed (“egaito”) and I would like to host a “happy hour cocktail party” (though not necessarily limited to a single happy hour, of course!) on Sanctuary during the late afternoon/early evening on Sunday of the boat show weekend if there are enough folks interested who might want to stop over.

The Miami Boat Show is located on Miami Beach. Sanctuary is located at Rickenbacker Marina which is a short distance from Miami Beach - I can see the tall buildings of Miami Beach from here, but it is a drive, not a walk, from the boat show venues.

Although not as convenient as just meeting at SAM’s for lunch, I thought it might be another nice way for some of us to meet and mingle with some more of us at the end of the day. I also thought about how to make this more convenient, i.e. walking distance, but there isn’t dockage to be found anywhere near that show unless we anchor in the bay and dinghy back and forth.

Let me know what you think - hey, that includes you folks at SAM’s!

Regardless, I am looking forward to meeting (in person) as many more of you as I can.

Cheers!

Can I come pretty pleeeeeeaze?

That's a very generous offer - and probably a bit reckless, too [half in jest]. We probably won't take you up on it, but we do appreciate being included in the Hatt community - even if we're just wannabes.

We're arriving on Valentine's and staying until President's Day at the Marriott Bayside. If anyone sees a very un-taned couple of Tennesseans wandering around the various venues, its probably us. We hope to be inconspicious.

Hope the weather will be kind!

Thanks Angela. I haven't decided on what day we will be at the show, but this might just make it Sunday.

i'll be there! angela, sorry about sunday , did't get the VM till 11pm and dind't check my email that day... we were anchored off KBYC but spent most of the day sailing on naomi Hobie 16. we launched it at midnight sat. and towed it behind the hatt across the bay... she had insisted to leave the Jib up and with the tail wind it was trying to pass us, alternating port and stbd side all the way acorss the bay !

if there is room next to you, we'll sneak in there... if not we'll tie to the fuel dock or anchor out and "hober" in :-)

we're going to Strictly Sail on thursday. yeah, you all hear that right... Strickly Sail... :-) Naomi in starting to toy with idea of selling her house and getting a big cat ! we want to see that electric lagoon 42 and others... we'll probably go to the convention center in the afternoon.

Angela, Thanks for the open invitation,I would really like to see your boat but my flight home leaves Sunday evening. Maybe next time. Thanks again Stan

Angela,

I am in. Do we need to bring anything?

We'll be there. We're doing the Loop in Nonchalance and planned to be in Miami for the boat show. We've been at Angela's marina dock for the last 2 nights; had dinner at Sanctuary last night and the Rusty Pelican tonight. Ang helped us get a slip here at Rickenbacker (Thanks Ang!).

During the show, we'll be at Turnberry Isle marina in Aventura (suburb just north of Miami) and plan to go to the show, probably Fri and Sat 2/15-16. Hope to see a bunch of you there.

Pascal, I took that slip out on the end that you used last time you came over, and my old slip was filled the day after I vacated it. And, the slip that The Shumans are in now, which they will vacate tomorrow, will have a sailboat in there by the weekend, so we're slap full. :( The fuel dock closes at 6PM, so you could tie up there after they close.

Angela,

Tim and I accept your gracious offer. We weren't able to get together with you guys at FLIBS, so really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi guys,

This will be my first visit to the Miami Boat Show and I have a few basic questions:

1) Where will the SAMS tent be set up? I'd like to be part of the daily 12:00 gathering.

2) I understand their are really 3 shows going on. I'm most interested in the boating gagets as I'm not in the market for a new boat. Where will those booths/tents be set up?

3) Any tips on parking?

Jim

We will be at the show on Thursday. We generally browse the booths. Don't need another boat just now.

Bob

Jim

the gadgets are at the convention center...

from what i understand, Sams will be at the Hatt. display off collins in Miami beach
