Having a hurricane plan is not " get some water and beer and hang at the house".
I have a plan for the House and the boat. The wife is angry because I am not as concerned for the house. It is 75 miles inland so I am sure there will be less force for it to absorb. For the boat I know others that move to my marina as a hurricane hole to get the boats safe. I can not get better protected without moving a hundred or more miles. I know the marina people and the neighbors on the dock who will help each other. I am hoping to never test the plan.
