Happy to report that Sanctuary has been moved to the "sweet spot" in the marina. Heck, they even have 50 amp service back here in this hole! I just can't say enough about the level of service I get here at Rickenbacker. The dockmaster, Jay, came down and moved my boat back into an area that I'm not sure even Ed would have attempted. I was just stunned at the way he handled this boat in such very tight quarter - so tight that at one point I had to go inside because I just couldn't watch it anymore. After putting her where he wanted her, the marina crew came out and ran all the lines and tied her up well. Jay said I will probably just sleep right through the storm from this location - others have told me that too.
So, I've got full power (meaning air conditioning!), internet, telephone, hot water, a blender, things to put in the blender, and ice...what more do I need?

So far, even the kitty is taking it easy. I may lose the phone/internet at some point, though.
I really am so grateful to the marina folks for all they have done for me. That alone has helped ease my nerves tremendously - this is my first storm. I just moved to Florida in May, and I've never lived on or anywhere near the coast before. This Hatt honestly is my pride and joy, so I'm going to stay with her. I'll see if I can keep up with Pascal with photos, but he's got the Hattcam this year.
