1979 43DC, DD6-71N's, Glendenning Synchronizer. With the synchro OFF the port engine throttle lever is almost impossible to move. With the synchro ON the throttle lever moves easily. FYI, the port engine is the slave, so when synchro is ON the lever moves all the way to full throttle with ease.
So my questions is: does the Glendenning synchronizer have lubrication points or is there another answer? Also, this problem has been getting worse over the past few years and is worse in cold weather. Cables were replaced about 12 years ago.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Reply here or to my email: eze2bme@aol.com.
