Yesterday, when I called the marina to make my reservations I was offered the $1.50/ft discount.

My son and I have made plans to go to boat school, and the term for Hatteras U, begins the day after the rendezvous. I do not see how we can run Lilly Marie home in time for a Sunday flight to Beaufort; therefore I do not think we will be bringing our boat to the Wharf. We will probably drive over, and if anything changes with school, I'll let you know.

i talked to rob at the wharf today, he said with the concert [sugarland] friday, our rendezvous, and galati yacht sales rendezvous on saturday, that the marina is getting a lot of calls for slips, if ya'll know anyone who wants to attend you might want to urge them to make thier reservations soon. bigbill

mr. johnny, its shrimp not crawfish, and they are on saturday. you had the fishing club and the hatteras rendezvous crossed up, we are having crawfish this saturday for the fishing club... see you there. bigbill

I spoke with a fellow local Hatt owner from Slidell, LA that has a gorgeous and rare 1967 50YF that is now planning on attending! The boat's name is Bella Donna and she was treated to a full Awlgrip paint job in '07. That was the boat that convinced me to have mine done because she was being completed when I went in just for a bottom job. My knees got weak when I saw her shine and the rest as they say is history....

i am going to need a head count of people attending, either by boat, or coming by car, so gulf coast hatteras knows how many shrimp to boil. i am looking to give this info to them by the weekend of may 2nd-3rd. some of you have already responded with your head count, if they are still accurate, there is no need to respond again.... thanks, bigbill
