Just saw a woman being rescued from her flooded house in Lindenhust. Amazing how this storm will affect many of us the same regardless of your distance from the storm. My sister is in Central CT. and the winds are predicted to be as high as they are here. Same issues with storm surge flooding all the tributaries. I keep hoping this won't be any where near as bad as forecast.

NORTH GALES TO 40 KNOTS WITH STORM FORCE GUSTS TO 55 KNOTS...DIMINISHING TO 30 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 45 KNOT GALES LATE.
RAIN.
WAVES 23 TO 28 FEET...SUBSIDING TO 15 TO 20 FEET LATE.
MAXIMUM WAVE HEIGHT AROUND 32 FEET.
This is for the south end of Lake Huron, still a few boats out and about but I'm not one of them.
