Two Fish III in Florida & Bahamas!

We enjoyed ALL of those places! Were you able to get into Little Harbour? Along with Warderick Wells, Shroud and Hawksbill? All of those moorings were fabulous.

Sloshing water causing constant bilge pump operation solutions?

If this is sitting at the dock it's certainly odd. Ours used to cycle while on the move. The loop in the hose had to be extended upward quite a bit.

    Hopefully no one we know?

Adrift and no one aboard. Not the best circumstances. https://winknews.com/2024/04/03/53-foot-boat-goes-adrift-floating-into-u-s-41-bridge-in-punta-gorda/

    Looking for Ships Clock suggestions

The Chelsea's clean up real good LOL. It took me a while and created a mess but it was worth it. I have no idea why the coating failed on ours

Any ideas which version this is?

Parked nearby we have this oldy. I think it is larger than a 58' yacht fish but I could not locate it in the power boat guide I have from 1999.

Bow Thruster and Stabilizers, are they necessary?

This seems a bit off topic. We were supposed to be talking about 43 MYs / DCMYs. Freedom had 6-71 TIs and 4 blade props. I always thought it reacted just fine and rarely, if at all did I have to bump off idle when docking.

    shopping for house Ft. Myers

These algae blooms are all over the place and nothing new. Here is a shot of Sylvan Beach NY back in August of 2004. When things were bad the year after Irma, it was because of all of the run off from Irma. Ft Myers had blooms all over the place in canals and back waters that do not receive much...

    Cruising and cooking

Until you pay an arm and a leg for a "pizza" in the Abacos. Having done that we elected to have a custom pizza stone that fits into the galley maid oven cut. People gathered around the dock when we were cooking.

Recent Detailed Photos of Dorian Damage

This link is a map/photo combination that allows one to visually explore many areas of the Abacos. For example, one can move the map portion over Sea Spray / White Sound on Elbow cay and peruse many detailed photos. Seeing more detail of what happened at Sea Spray has been heart breaking. And...

    Generator Muffler Advice

We replaced ours because the exhaust outlet pipe did not go deep enough into the muffler for the water to cover it adequately. As a result the generator would "bark" once in a while. Once the muffler was replaced with a new one, all was well. But I did check the penetration of the exhaust pipe...

    Davit

Jon ours was there when we bought the boat. I used a winch controller for a quad runner. It came with a couple of fobs, a receiver, antenna and connecting wires. I installed it in parallel with the wired controller. As you can see the blocks were about a foot or so above the swim platform. The...

    Television on the boat.

We used Directv on Freedom for 17 years and with the original stock circular dish. Eventually we went with the 18 inch oblong but never used the large hdef antenna. One of our dock neighbors had the hdef antenna mounted on a board pointed up through their canvas bridge enclosure. We had ours on...

Abacos going the way of Nassau

While we were never really concerned, two events have occured. Spanish Cay was robbed at gunpoint and there is a reward. Also, Hope Town experienced an armed robbery as well. http://www.thebahamasweekly.com/publish/police-reports/Armed_Robbery_Spanish_Cay_Abaco58266.shtml...

    Omg

    Then there is this seen back in March of '16 at West End. Note, that the exhaust is also sort of pointed at the cockpit. There was no cap on the propped up container the hose was stuck in the end and tied in place;
