Plywood valances confirmed. (pic)
Since I took the 1999 TV out of it, with a built-in VCR, this cabinet is wasted space. I'm going to remove it in the next month or two.
I saw somewhere somebody had built a swivel-up desk here. That's what I want. So, it's open space until someone wants to sit there with a laptop or whatever...you pull-up and secure a desk. I'm not sure how I'll do this, but will.
I'm also not sure how I'll cover that space left on the side of the galley cabinet. It housed an old 500w stereo system, CD changer and all that outdate stuff. I already have a full reefer and separate under-counter icemaker. So, maybe I can make a cabinet door to cover it from the other cabinet I'm removing? I dunno.
I'll have to find a new spot or leave some space for the Hatteras lamp.
Ceiling is taped for paint.
Yep, it's double sided plywood.
