We shut off our bilge pumps prior to starting.
I am pretty sure most all of the brake cleaner evaporated. The water ended up being pretty nasty with paint film and all kinds of grease/gunk from cleaning the engine. Not exactly what I would want to bilge out.
After that we (and by "we" i mean the high schooler that helps me out

) scooped all the water out from under the engines into 5gal buckets and we properly disposed of it (not in the water). Once he scooped the big puddles out the shop vac sucked up the remainder. Then he wiped everything down with mean green or purple stuff and paper towels.
