Tackle center for dwarfs???

Looks good, now you're in the fun part of priming and sanding.
I was just thinking we didn't really take on a major projects this winter and how easy the boat is going to be to get in the water this spring.
Sending the CC to Palm Beach for the winter definitely tamed me on the winter projects.

I did not do the second step or bottom as you did it was to keep the cockpit large. I have a stainless "S" under the troling chair. By turning the "S" we got a lot of room under the chair enuff for the cooler to get out of the way. As for loss of tackle storage. The drawers allowed water to seeps in and the tackle stayed wet especially when washing the boat. I just lost freezer space but fixed that made it a cooler. The freezer is now on the bridge where the cooler was. Took out the useless sink and made it one big box all the tackle is stored there actually gained space the boxes go all the way to the floor.
The cushions will be ready in about 2 weeks should look much better then.
I am getting older and standing up for a 8 hour day began to take its toll. The seating will make fishing more enjoyable. Having afternoon toddy at a strange dock will be more pleasurable.
Hay mooderator Smith you are correct as the short friends can reach in the cooler.

I also redid the forward closet. Added a little hiden rod space going down the stairs.

You hinted something about new motors? What's update on that?

Tim, I thought you changed out the motors a while back? For 3406s? No?

had a pair of 3406 they were raw no gear no wires black box no nothing. Looked at a boat in Charleston SC another 52 not what i wanted. They are gone.

I am going to repower with the cummins. I wanted to do it this past winter the ZF gear was a problem could not get them on a timely basis. They are here now but Deman repower in Wilmington can not finish before the season starts. First tournament Memoral day so i am waiting till about september after the white run at Organ inlet. Any more curious questions ?

No, except we all want to see photos of them going in etc. M11s? That will be nice.

I don't quite get it why Cummins don't make even larger engines and get some of Caterpillar's business from the C18, 30, 32.

Like this?

Right, a K series, but they don't make them for pleasure boats, do they?

define pleasure boat.

The bigger engines are commercially rated and also pleasure rated at different HP.

The QSK95 is 4200 hp pleasure but only 3200 or 2600 for commercial applications

I've got questions. How are you getting the 892's out?
My guess there's a ulterior motive to the new low profile cockpit seating than just a place to hang out....

Take the door frames off, strip engine down to block, long extension on fork lift and out the door. Sent Tim pictures on this procedure.
