All this talk about speeding is getting me back into that mode again....BULLRUN begins in about 7 weeks!
TH--
Watched a discovery channel show last night about the BULLRUN... I only caught a few minutes of it, but it had a black Masserati or Lambo get a rock through the radiator, and a two girl crew stopped and stuffed a harpoon in the hole and they all peeled out. Of course the guy didnt know how to mannippleate it ! Was that the real race or the stupid reality show? ws

STUPID REALITY TV SHOW!!! I think the founders sold out to Hollywood. The TV show shares little with the actual rally. I think it degrades the whole thing bigtime, IMHO.

AH-- sandcastles at Sleeping Bear dunes !! ws

:D

Those are the days worth remembering !

Capt. Bird,

If you are lurking out there... I think you have the required Hatterai footage. My little 34 is dwarfed by your combined 90+ feet of Hatteras hull. If he's anything like his dad... I'll bet that boy of yours is a real pistol. I hope all is well.

Ahhh, I remember those 440's....the sleepy little town of Pinehurst had them. Twin 4bbl's and dual exhaust. They had a very distinct exhause rumble, so when we were hanging out where we were not supposed to, we got plenty of warning.

Just playing catch-up this AM. Interesting, guy up the street (former cop) just bought one which has been recently fully restored. It do sound good.

Nice pics Paul. Thanks for sharing.
