Boat hauled last Saturday, bottom paint time. They took it to the clean out pit and sandblasted the bottom and gear the blocked it. It was to have been done by yesterday so I took the day off to go over and wax hull and put her back in the water. Well they did not do a thing other than put 4 gouges in the sides from the slings. Gouges go all the way throught the yellow Awlgrip to the white gel coat, about 12x12 each.
Did get to clean her up and put 2 coats of Awlcare on her and did minor trim tab repair and inspect the bottom which is in excellent shape. Then went down to the docks and visited Bob Norris aka Wild Bill. He was at work which is just a few slips away from his boat/home. He is captain on a 2001 60 which he has whipped into shape. He was changing the oil in the engines yesterday
