I have a gypsy that I believe is off a GM. How do I tell if it for 3/8bbb? Is it stamped on it somewhere?

I was informed by a Galley Maid Engineer that the shaft changes from 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 and the plate on the deck change.
I need to get cost for rebuilding before taking a decision.
