Wood wheel.....

Some Hatts have gorgeous wood wheels at the lower helm (when so equipped). Were they original or after market? What is a good source for them? Only thing I've found so far is Edson wheels but they are quite proud of them....

Any salvage yards that may have them?

Google searches return decorative stuff for on the wall. Quite frustrating.

I bought a 30 inch Edson wood wheel for my 53 and it was well worth it, it is the focal point of the main saloon. John

Nice.... That's a teak rimmed destroyer wheel. Runs about $1250 now. I was looking at these which at 30" comes in at $3800 and up..... But you've got me thinking about a compromise....

My wheel came with the boat. I stripped, sanded and re-finished it with 14 coats of Epifanes varnish.

How do I rotate these photos???

Jon, open the photo on your computer and rotate 360. They should then post correctly.
