A while back there was a discussion on the use of steel wool to clean spots off glass. The question was raised on the substitution of bronze wool for the steel wool, but my search did not find an answer. Has bronze wool been tried by anyone? If so, what were the results?

If no one has tried the bronze wool, I am going to give it a try and see what I get.

We've had great results with Prism Polish, particularly on the polycarbonate curved windows, but also glass. It is pricey, but a little goes a long ways and it has many uses. I would be hesitant to use any kind of "wool", but would be interested to hear from those who have. Whink (that is how it is spelled) is an interesting idea too, but also somewhat pricey. Of course, ruining a window is VERY pricey!

I use some Awlcare or similar "wax" with a little Bar Keepers Friend mixed in. The abrasive in the BKF takes the spots off while the polish keeps the spots from coming back.

I just use a polishing compound and wheel then a wax. If you keeep them waxed I haven't had to polish them in Years. Mined are tinted very dark so spots can show up Big time!
