  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
67' COCKPIT MY (1987 - 1995)
Anybody out there have any manuals (Installation, Operations, Maintenance, etc) for the Wilcox Seabrace stabilizers? I’m looking at re-commissioning them. Previous owner stated they were non-functional. ThanksKevin

If your shopping for a boat with them, Don't walk but run aweigh.
If your asking because it is your headache now, plan on purchasing real stabilizers or at least plugging the old holes up when you trash them.

Good luck. You'll need it.

Are they pneumatic or hydraulic?

Oh, how I feel you pain !
(I'm confronted with the same issue... Dead SeaBrace Fins.)
My thinking was to go with CMC Stab25s - I like the idea of electronic and low profile.
If you find that manual, LMK. I want to lock mine in place till I pull the trigger on a replacement.
My research showed it wasn't worth trying to 'recommission' them. They're dead. Let them rest in peace.

I delivered a 53MY with them several years ago, and they worked.

I’ll shoot them a text and see if they have the manual. Maybe they can photograph the pages.

Send me a PM with your email so I don’t forget. It’s been a long day.

I purchased a 1986, 58MY equipped with these stabilizers, not operational. I was told that the repair cost would be extremely high so I removed the fins.
I do have a manual on them though. I would be happy to copy it for you if necessary.
Let me know.
