I wish I could go to vintage weekend. My dock neighbor will be there with his trumpy Emma, the 57' flushdeck. I would love to see some of the boats that will be there.

Going to go over with the kids on friday and clean her up and do a few repairs etc. then Saturday we are all going out for a ride, find place to dock and eat or go to the sand bar, not sure.

Was wishing Mario will come up and join us, his boat is in Titusville only 30min away from us.

What about you Wild Bill, want to run up to the resteraunt by 520 and the Banana River? Then Ski island afterwards?

Scott, are you going to make it or are you stuck in Miami that day.

Smoking a bird for the big day, then heading with the family to Ft. Liqourdale for the DD class.

We will be doing Turkey Day on Knotty Maid at the dock with a broken turbo. :( Then I am going to put on my Michael Schumacher hat and go kick arse on the race track in Sebring

This year will be a little different for me. I've got a four day weekend all to myself, so I'm just planning to work my boat. Not sure what I'll get done, but four days worth of something. (No, Ed, I'm NOT ripping out the aluminum and rockwool out of the port ER - I'm saving that for you since you did such a nice job on the starboard ER! :D ) Maybe I'll varnish the handrails.

Many of the other liveaboards here cruise down to Pumpkin Key or No Name Harbor together each year and have Thanksgiving Dinner there. That sounds like a nice plan. Maybe I'll get to do that next year. :)

Damn, I could hope, couldn't I?

Well, it seems I'm one of the few that won't be spending the holiday with my boat :( . We generally go to NC to visit family for this Holiday, and then somewhere else for the next. Every 5-10 years, we actually get to spend one at home.

The Pumpking Key idea sounds like the best I've heard so far....I think it's even a bit closer to the Pilgrims to do dinner "out there"....ok, that's a stretch, but I'll use it if it works.

My plans are to change the coolant in both engines and the genny. Not much fun, but an annual ritual.

We are forced to leave town in shame. We were photographed on Slow Lane for a story on the annual Light Parade, but photographer couldn't get the downtown skyline in the background. So here we are on a neighbor's SAILBOAT!

We'll be hiding out at Disney World for five days doing the family thing.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Weeeelllll, we're in Ct and Skamm Too is on the hard. Although, today it was 55 degrees and I put on new zincs. I was tempted to tell the yard to launch her!

Anyway, back to the original question, if the weather is ok, we are going to put the Thanksgiving meal in the oven and jump on the Harley for a little Thankgiving ride. Then we do Turkey Day.

The next morning, we go to Bridgeport, jump on the ferry and go across to Port Jefferson where we "do the town" and have lunch at Billy's Cafe. Then we drive to Greenport where we stay at Townsend Manor Inn and Marina (at the Inn). All weekend we do the boat thing with the truck; Greenport, Sag Harbor, Montauk, etc, etc.

It's pretty cool. "A different point of view" to repeat a phrase. We usually see Nick from Ocean K'Omotion and Steve aka Bertramp. Hope to see them again this year. The round's on me this year, Nick!

Well, that's our Thanksgiving plans....Next?

Hatteras ;)

Well ... I'll be in Sag part of the weekend ... gotta winterize the water and measure for new carpet and ... a margarita or five at "La Superica". Give a hollar to let me know when you're gonna be in town.

Since you said "with the family" .. I'm assuming it's and engine class and not a bikini contest ..... sorry, couldn't resist :D

Well, here we are, out cruising....running abut 68kts, in a blustery 15+ kt wind, and driving rain. Unfortunately, we're in the land-yacht (conversion van), heading further and further away from my boats

Ain't technology great though?
