What streaming service can you watch anywhere?

I have tried screen mirroring but throwing the IPAD picture onto a 50" TV makes it blurry and unwatchable. I did look at youtube TV as recommended and unlike the other steaming systems they are very clear on restrictions on watching when away from your home. It seems like away from home but in my local area I will be good. Also they state that a show or sporting event you can not watch live (if I was say down in Fort Myers) well away from home I can record on DVD (virtual) and then watch once the program is no longer a live event. I can live with that. Already know Brady is going to get one more SB!:D:D:D
We use YouTube tv. But turn location services off on the phone and watch local.

Is that how simple it is? Wonder if that defeats the hulu issue. I’ll try it this weekend. We are taking a “long” trip all the way to treasure island from hone in Madeira beach.

Treasure island is the next town over😁😁😁

I lived on treasure island in the late 70s. Hanks Seabreeze Lounge was right on the beach. Greatest little dive beach bar in the world. I understand it’s all built up now along the shore. Hanks closed for good many years ago. I met a girl there once that lasted for a weekend. Incredible memories. I don’t guess I should be telling those stories

We use Plex for our content and Nord for VPN. We have a respectable library of about 2,000 movies plus 150+ TV/Series titles. We have a server at our house so that we can access our Plex library from anywhere that we have a decent internet connection. We also have friends with Plex servers and we all share access to each other so if we can't find anything to watch on our server, we have options. We use Nord VPN for Netflix, HBO, Youtube and YoutubeTV.

I use an Apple TV. For boat internet I use a place called Calyx Institute, it’s a flat $600 per year and true unlimited internet. It runs off sprint and t mobile, I have good service most places.

Very interesting......

Thanks CWW. I just signed up for a year. I am familiar with Calyx Institute. I am a programmer. I am also familiar with the inseego WiFi router they include. Verizon sells the same router at $20/mo but limits you to 15gb then they throttle the heck out of you (256kb). It’s under a contract for 2 years. This should work nicely along with my rouge wave WiFi antenna when in marinas. I use an edge router/switch that chooses between the two sources of internet and automatically switches to the best source. This is an upgrade for me. Tired of tethering my cell phone to the router and/or burning up my hotspot data.

It is truly remarkable how slow the cell industry has been responding to these needs. I am not sure there are many of us that wouldn’t pay the extra money per month for true unlimited data or at least 250gb. These piddly little 15gb/mo crap is useless for boaters, RVers and travelers. 5G connection will chew up 15gb watching Netflix in no time at all. All hail to the anarchist…lol
