100 miles a day seems about right at 10mph. It will be some long days but it’s all part of the adventure. The kids…..I say kids because I’m old, have never done anything like this. I already warned them I am going to push pretty hard. This isn’t a site seeing tour

Balls to the wall mode is fun. Just know you're doing it and don't allow it to let you make poor decisions. Know when to quit.

It looks like I am going to need a davit solution. There are a set of St Croix davits and a set of Trick Davits. Neither will work with my Highfield 310 with a 20hp. I had a Hurley H3 on my Sea Ray. Awesome davit. I could load my dinghy by myself. Not sure that will work on the Hatteras. I think the swim platform is too narrow but they may have a solution
