  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
41' CONVERTBLE-Series I (1964 - 1971)
They had some great brochures and sell sheets along with other information. Could their archives be added to the sites?

Well Mark has been poting here lately hopfullly he will answer!!!!!

I've wondered the same. I'd like to know who else has a 34 Sedan like ours. The 34 club seems like the logical place to start looking.

I have a 41. Am I allowed to start a thread about the 34 club?

Sorry Moderators. Mea Culpa.

Actually it started as the 34 club but then grew to the Vintage Hatteras club for you guys that just had to have a Bigger Boat :D

I just needed 2 staterooms. The 38 would have done it but I couldnt find one. Maybe we could get it restarted at the under 400 Gallon club for us with medium boats.

Hummn,
So there is a 34 club..... Too small :D

And a 1510 club............Too Big :(

But nothing for us "middle kids"....

Sigh :p

I was disapointed to see the Hatteras 34 web page go away. It was a wealth of info and was the reason I ended up with a vintage 34 and coveting the early 41's. I'm sure there is a lot of time and effort involved in adminstrating and supporting a forum but it would be nice to have a page for the "oldies but goodies". Any volunteers?

Not to volunteer Doug and the crew at SAMs but they seem to be the best able to integrate the resources if we can get them. The 34 site had more brochures and spec sheets than hatteras and was a great help in my research for buying my 41C.

Doug? Can you help?

I haven't heard a word about 37's. I have one and it would appear I'm in a club all by myself. I don't even fit in the 400 gallon club. I hold 530.

Yours has modified fuel capacity so you can hang witrh us.

Boatsb, I have a reported 300 in my 64, 41c, er express. Just did a deal to get a set of low hour ti'd 6v53's@400hp per/w twin disks(short $$$). My mech likes them well enough, and if I can get 5 years before I have to repower with 4stroke stuff I'll be huge $$ ahead.

Far as the 34 club. Bad bird put a glitch in the internet and made it disapper. rember everything is his fault , including the slow down of work on the tubbb(nickname for my express)

The thing that was cool about the 34 page was the way it was organized by model. Maybe we could get Sam's to add a part to the Gallery that simply has the model listed and we can post our photo's and info (hull #, power, mods, etc). I think something similar has been suggested before. Mr. Administrator… what do you think?

Maybe you should retitle her as a 41X for express or experimental. :)

can you imagine the insurance nightmares of that one?
I figured, given how much time I spend with the bertram 31 guys, I'd get bertram 41 stickers made up. LOL I'd never hear the end of that.

Come on we all know you Love the punishment :p
You probally like to get whipped too ;)

Actually, there have been a few Hatts here in NC that have been profesionally converted into express boats and the owner has "retitled" them. This has helped with resale of the vessel. One that I looked at was exceptionally well done had not been "retitled" was only able to be sold as a 1970 something sportfish with fresh paint and engines. It was probably worth twice the actual purchase price.

The "retitle" process would probably have a positive impact on the ability for potential buyers to finance and get insurance.

Wht did it originally have? 8v53? If so I can help you get rid of some of the leftover parts. Just shoot me an email.
