  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
48' COCKPIT MY-Series II (1993 - 1996)
On my 36 Sea Ray I had a water distribution manifold for both hot and cold water. I’ve looked everywhere I can on my 48cpmy and found nothing resembling a manifold. Did Hatteras hard plumb everything? There is a lot of grey fresh water tubing with T’s and terminations scattered throughout the boat. I have two faucets with weak supply. Checked filters and screens. Any help is appreciated

My plumbing is flared copper but, not only is there no manifold type setup, there are not even any shut offs.

It is just branched out to different fixtures, and so, for instance, my forward head seems to take precedence over the kitchen faucet...

PO on Pau Hana started replacing copper flare water piping with pex, including shutoff valves. Gray water was all handled thru shower sumps with bilge pumps and float switches, galley sink and dishwasher drained directly overboard. No real "manifold" anywhere that I ever found.

As Brett and Rob said, no manifolds or flow reduction methods to keep flow identical to all outlets. This leads to the possibility of scalding when a large consumer such as a toilet is flushed, as boat water heaters are typically set really high to offset the smallish amount of hot water available or if plumbed to the engines fresh water loop. . Instead of replumbing everything to be a home run, a mixing valve at the toilets will help with this greatly. It will mix hot and cold when the toilet is flushed thereby preventing a scalding situation.

No manifold
And Flare fitting

If you do anything, switch over to a manifold.
It took more time and effort to fix everything then it would have to rip it out and replace it with a system that can be turned off per destination or run.

Not the answer I wanted to hear but….. Maybe replumbing a few things will help. I already bought some pex tubing and did a temp install across my salon to see if there was a blocked line somewhere. The admiral wasn’t impressed and I received plenty of eye rolls but I got my answer. The lines are clear. Returning her precious salon to its pristine state made her happy….lol

Thanks for the help
