Very Early Hatteras YF?

On a recent visit to one of the DIY yards here I came across this old Hatteras. I am wondering if this boat came out of the factory as a yachtfisherman.

That bow shape does not look original either...nor the spray rail...
looks like a nice job overall...

There is no record of a Hatt YF of that vintage I have ever found...

Let me rephrase that... it's a 41DC with an add-on cockpit... and spray rails. Not factory, but a pretty cool idea actually.

I agree. Cool idea and concept. There was no such thing from the Hatteras factory.

I noticed that too. Question is, why through the side? Maybe they went back with something that wouldn't fit through the window. I know my gassers came in and out that way, and I think the OEM diesels would too.
