1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
45' CONVERTIBLE-Series I (1968 - 1975)
A good morning chuckle here. Only defect, according to seller, is cat clawed a locker door. I’d say by the looks of one main engine and otherwise this pristine example could traverse the pacific given enough fuel. As RSmith said about the condo-ization of boats until they are given up for dead, this ‘2Br 2Ba’ description is trying hard towards that end.

But they are experts who live the long distance cruising lifestyle. Read the 12 page description of them. Holy crap.

A little buffing and she'll be good as new. ;)

She's a beaut Clark, no low balls I know what i got here

Gosh, this boat is like twenty-five miles from me. And, no, do not ask me to go look at it for you. Not a chance.

It's hard to imagine, but when this rolled out of the High Point plant, it was about to be someone's pride and joy. Sad.

Compare to exact sister-ships in only slightly better condition listed for between $100,000 to....

Whaaaat? I think the person writing the sales info was looking at the wrong pictures.

Swim platform is literally rotting off.

There was a marina full of boats in similar condition here in Ft Myers. Ian totaled it, Milton finished the job. The only boat in there that survived Ian was a Hat 58' that has reappeared on Craigslist, FB Marketplace and other free listings, while moving back and forth around this area. This one is a classic example of artistic license in the description... I put it on my watch list just for funsies.

Then there's this one - which I think is the one I was referring to.

Used 1982 Hatteras 61 Motoryacht, 33935 Labelle - Boat Trader

That 61 was for sale about 3 years ago i think for about $30,000. I rember it had sunk and they put in those 6-71’s at that time.

Nothing better than an overpriced boat that smells of cat piss, where do I sign up?

Don't try to lowball him, it's useless, he knows what he has. :(

I remember that four poster bed, there has been alot of interesting work happening there.

WOW is about all you can say about the 61, what a home depot wreck that thing is.
