Vacuflush System Available

I'm pulling the vacuflush head and replacing it with a Raritan. It's available free to anyone who can use it. I'm also removing the vacuum generating pump and chamber, so that's also available along with a bunch of parts that Brett Portzer gave me when he replaced his system. All available at no charge to anyone who could use it. The only thing wrong with it is that the vacuum pump needs to be rebuilt. I did it when I first bought the boat in 2020, and it's worked for 5 years.

Quick Story, I did the same thing a couple of years ago with the help of Scott B. I placed all of my system on Facebook Market Place, after my Clubmates had taken what they wanted. A guy inquired about the system, he was refitting a RV. I told him to just go electric, but he insisted that VF was the way to go. I sold it to him, and He has called me a thousand times with all the classic VF issues.

I really prefer my Vacuflush over electric.

The biggest complaint that I hear is stray leaks cycling the system.

Over time I have learned the better way to use it is to merely turn on when entering the head since it only takes a minute or two to build up vacuum. Flush, run the valve open for 10 seconds or so to input water, off and done.

A future plan is to use a motion sensor which only checks for occupancy. Seems like such a bad idea to maintain vacuum 24 hours a day...

be nice to have a spare if its compatible to what i have.

I'm Beacon Falls, CT. About 20 min north of Bridgeport on Rt 8. The boat (and the system) is in New Haven for the next 2 or 3 weeks. Right off exit 44. I'll check the toilet model later today when I'm at the boat. The vacuum pump is the main reason I'm changing the system. I rebuilt it 5 years ago and found it not working and with waste sitting on top of it this spring. I can rinse it off, but it definitely needs to be rebuilt at the very least.

Toilet is a Mansfield model 808. Tag says it a 1979 vintage. I completely rebuilt it about 3 years ago. I dropped the shield from the vacuum pump under the engine and haven't retrieved it yet. Not sure of the model. Pics follow...

Pump is gone. I still have the toilet. Hate to just throw it away. Works fine and replacing it isn't cheap.
