Under the good and welfare category, I took my 93 year old father today to show him the new boat. We sat in the cockpit and watched the world go by. Not only did he teach me all I know about boating, he also had a great feature story in Yachting many years ago about bringing his 61 Hatteras to Europe. Another, older generation, of the Hatteras family. A day not to forget.

But seriously I want to take my dad on ,y boat when hes 93. And I hope my son takes me on his when I get there too.

He said he would rather not fish. After more than 50 years of fishing, who could could blame him.
