Trying to figure out the year my 50 was built

My paperwork says 1980 but none of the pictures I look at are similar to mine except a 1984 53C i am wondering if anyone would know the answer here is my Hull ID best as I can see it...

Well, its a 'BL' so that puts it between aug 79 and May 83 according to the model brochures. But beyond that I can't make anything else out in the HIN. Its been painted over, you can see the drip, and its filled in pretty good. You might be able to send the the HIN to Hatt cust service and see if they can find it.

What HIN do you have on your USCG doc or state reg?

That HIN only has 10 digits it should have 12. The last 2 digits would be the year .
