I guess you haven't been back to Jersey in a long time. The waters are very clean probably due to all the new regulations. Clams harvested in Sandy Hook Bay are no longer required to go through the "cleaning" process at Belford harbor. People are actually catching fish in NY harbor including right off the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan including Strippers, blues etc. For whatever reason NJ has a rough reputation but believe it or not we are not the crime capital of the US by a long shot and we have some of the best beaches in the country as well as rolling green hills and mountains. Tony Soprano no longer lives here.

I will acknowledge that years ago our waters were a mess with industrial waste and sewerage....no longer the case. I remember back in the 50's and 60's launching a newly painted or polished beautiful white hull and after a short cruise, it would be full of oil residue... no longer the case. ElectraSan treating systems aren't even legal anymore.

Come visit and see for yourself......you'll like it.

Walt, I thought strippers were found in bars and clubs. Sounds like you guys from nu joisy have a new thing going. :D

Scott,

You are absolutely correct...but these are the places that are all controlled by the liberal politicians and they think the inner cities are fine.....BUT of course they don't live there. The entire state of NJ consists of mostly great folks, great small towns and lots of farms, not to mention the famous Jersey Shore along with all the past and present boat builders. There are lots of great places to live in this country of ours, unfortunately only the bad areas make the news. BTW has the Ohio river caught fire lately?

Jersey is famous for many things and don't forget we also have the best politicians money can buy..

Walt

Bob,

Eat your heart out....not only do we have strippers but we also have stripers... Both look pretty OK to me....lol

Walt

Sorry but it looks to me like the sewage is still on the beach
