Transom ladder tread refinish

Also just got around to installing the ladder treads after refinishing. I last did these probably 10 years ago with clear Imron. Same procedure this time around. Build up with Epiphanes and top coat with Imron.

Thank you, Brett. It's only taken me 22 years to get her to this point. And doing the same projects a second or third time either means I'm insane or getting old or both.

Looks beautiful! I got lazy and had starboard treads made. They’re functional but certainly not as beautiful as those. After refinishing my flag post masts I regret not taking the time to refinish my swim ladder treads.

The key is coating with a two-part polyurethane so you don't have to do the varnish every year.
