Totally NHR

Nice thread drift.....! (I mean that)

Not moving to Florida. Plan on having the (future) boat down there Jan-Apr...... for a few weeks of warm here and there. (Done that before.) Too many ties to this area.

Never got the Jag disease.... did own this Roller for a while.... (Did a lot of wrenching on it)

Right now I have a 1964 Series II 88" Land Rover on the lift with it's entire fuel system removed. (The wood stove is going, and it's 65ºF in there.......)

Now lets see if I can get the headlights going.....oh damn you, Lucas, Prince of Darkness....

I had a friend with several land/range rovers who told me that he bought them to demonstrate that he was rich enough to be able to afford the repairs. He said you had to have at least three if you ever expected to have one available at all times. :)

If you had a RR as a daily driver in the 80's early 90's that used to be more true than it is today. They've gotten a lot better, and the ride is amazing. It oughta be for the money.

The oldies do not make good daily drivers. And the wrenching is half the fun.

Well, wrecking a 2+2 is no big loss as long as only the car was hurt... ;) (See above J.T. Kirk quote)

Accounting for taste explains many comments...

But damn, you did a nice job on that red roadster. Wow. It looks perfect.

Yep, IMO, the coolest looking car around. A red 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS would be my second choice but I suspect I'm a bit biased! ;)

A friend bought a new 488 Spider this summer. Very nice ride
