Ever sat at the tip of the pulpit while underway and turned to the stern and held in sight a holy vision? Your man, lover, husband, boyfriend, whatever--at the helm steering--and have you felt a rush of passion just as your eyes lock? Isn’t it great!!? Mmmmm…the word “covet” comes to mind. I had to post this emotion somewhere!

Until this day, I've been afraid that I'd tire of feeling the sun ablaze, the tingle of champagne on my lips as I take the 1st sip, but on this motoryacht, there is much more. Every day is different. Then, when something doesn’t work quite right, the tingling feeling begins again. A Hatteras man is aglow in the midst of any peril.

Ladies, be passionate, be voracious…for this is not just any man. This is a Hatteras man. They're special. They have an appetite for life!! [If you're reading this post and you are a man, keep it where it'll be found by female roving eyes. It might do you a favor.]

Proof? See the images. First image shows him dumping the chain .. the windlass wasn't fast enough. Second image...no comment necessary. Last image shows the confidence that is a calming aphrodisiac in any conditions.

You are working that man too hard!

Don't forget, a real Hatteras man can (all too often) be found in the bilge too.

BTW, not good to sit on bow pulpit while underway.

Nice pics!

Whoa, Cap't Bill. You sure know how to put a stopper on a magical moment.

She's right. It is a glorious sight to see my man in his favorite place. Whether it's behind the wheel, in the bilge, or somewhere in between. He's Confident and Master of his world. You won't see it at the grocery store or trying to get the kids in the car. And there is a beauty at sea that you can't find anywhere else.

Wow, after reading that, all I can think of is one of those trashy novels that you can pick up at the airport news stand that has a guy on the front cover, that looks like Fabio at the helm of his Hatt. and cruising off into the sunset! I think I have to go smoke a cigaratte right now...LOL, gave that vice up years ago! Cheers, it's the weekend!!! :D

i'll look at this from the other side... it's nice to have a good looking woman being receptive to these moments...a beautiful woman looking up from the bow to the bridge... swim like a mermaid in the blue waters... or the ... shoot... can't remember the name... "figure de proue" ... on a beautiful boat !

NYK... relax, these hatt pulpits and bow rails are strong...

Gawd, I think I'll go puke........ LOL :D :D :D

Hey Downwind... I knew there was someone out there like me. Isn't it marvelous? They stink at accompanying you to chick flicks, they are bored at family visits, hate Sunday brunches on land, Disneyworld is out of the question ... yet, when they're on their boat, they are in charge of it all. It's absolutely sensual. And as for you "i'mthebeachgirl": I am now headed to the nearest bookstore to get me one of those novels! I've never seen a cover like that on a book. In fact, my man looks like Fabio -- HE HATES GETTING HAIRCUTS!!!

Senior Member -- your name is fitting.

Morning SoKeen, I am actually jealous of all you lucky folks who are making those kinds of moments right now. For us, it will be a year or two before we can cruise off into our own sunset..till then, enjoy each moment you have together! Have a great weekend all! :)

DownWind,

Shhh!:o

"Figure to pounce on" is more like it.:)

Ladies, Thank You! The way you see us, hmmm...You honor us!

Guys, they're watching... It would be a good idea to make the extra effort to get the grease off our hands, comb our windswept hair, undo an extra button on our shirts...

Hmmm... It's good to be the Captain;)

As usual everybody misses the point.

I hate it everytime an attractive but verbose passanger falls off a bow pulpit. Not a safe place to be sitting while underway.

Senior member and proud of it.

Leave Pascal alone he's an Expert at being safe :D

you know I like ya man, don't look at me like old FREEBIRD ;)

Ummmmm....Ladies...Please...Puff Puff Pass..... :D

I say we let anyone who wants to hang off the bow pulpit do so as long as they are over 18 and sign a release. Darwin is a great friend of mine.

An experienced yachtswoman doesn't "fall" or "hang" off a bow pulpit....she rides it.

Yippeee-I-A, Ride'em Cowgirl!!!

Like that Big & Rich song says....Save a horse, ride a cowboy!!!! ;)

i got to get myself a cowboy hatt... hmmm... hat. :-)
