We get quite a few of the top guys running through. They all seem to have run a 52C in the past and love the boat except the speed.

There are a lot of fast boats out there including Hatteras new GT. But there are also some fuel burners out there New Spencer 85 burning 140 gallons per side that means 280 gph burn. In a 5 to 7 foot sea it would be a lousy ride. But the 52c at 20 knots is like the every ready battery it just keeps on going, Slow in comparson is correct but only in pretty weather. All in all they are one heck of a boat in more ways than sea keeping ability. The cockpit is 150 square feet or there about you can square dance in it. Sleeps 6 grown men very satisfactory. With the 892 in it it produces two distinct clear watter lines behind the boat no white watter allowing for baits to be run correctely. They cam be spruced up and show quite well for the family.
