  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
43' DOUBLE CABIN (1970 - 1984)
We are moving "Slow and Easy" from Hilton Head to Stuart and the first leg of her journey to the Gulf coast.

Leaving Saturday Morning and will give updates on the way. It will be a Slow and Easy trip planning 7 days or what ever it takes.

See you in the ditch!

Have to decided where you will stay in Stuart? We are about to haul out Monday at American Custom until Sept 1st, then down to Key largo for work. We've been having thunderstorms in the evenings in the Stuart area. Hope the weather is good for you.

Pate,

We got a good deal from Loggerhead for a month which is all we need. Maybe if your around we can have a cold one.

Becky and Russ:cool:

Have fun and safe cruising!

One starts and one ends!

Russ,

We are a few miles up the north fork from Loggerhead and will be here all summer this year. Give us a heads up when you get here.

Smell some roses on your way down too. There are a lot of interesting places to stop and explore.

Alarm was set for 0600. Air conditioning kicked off at 0430. My dimensions are larger than the space around the port engine to get to the strainer which was the problem.

Decided to delay cleaning until arrival at Delegal creek. Departed 0720 Arrived at 1230 on the outgoing tide with no issues. Really nice marina and area. They gave us the run of the area and a golf cart. Slow and Easy performed well with no issues. Strainer is cleaned and A/C is pumping it out.

Leaving between 8 and 9 Brunswick,Ga next stop more on this later film at eleven.

Yeah we were really impressed with the area/ Island. The golf cart was fun to zip around on. Those houses are spectacular. I guess you got over that sand bar getting into the creeks. The dockmaster directed us in because the tide was low. Before I forget, Marine land just south of St. Augustine is a really cool place to stop. The marina is a 1.00/ft and very a nice place. The next day you can tour the aquariums and see the dolphins.

Day two started at 0700 watching wild hogs across the creek eating breakfast. Departed 0735 did 10 kts all the way. 77 miles in 7 hours. Timing of the tides for the skinny places was perfect. Weather stayed away but we are overdue.

Boat did Flawless! Mileage report tomorrow.

Did I mention Fathers day on the boat? Is this a great life or what??

What's the hurry!

Enjoy the ride. Once you get into Florida there are sections of the ICW where the dolphins love to jump in your wake. Right around 8.5 knots and they'll stay with you quite a while. They'll come right at the bow, and dive under the boat to come up in the wake. Don't slow down or speed up suddenly.

Greetings All,

Things are going so good I am combining days now. We did have the dolphins in the wake and it was cool. Have made the discovery that all it takes is money to have a yacht no brains are required especially in the ICW. We are in Palm Coast Marina tonight.......nice folks.

Daytona tomorrow. Had to put a quart of oil in the starboard tonight 66 hours since the change. What ever will I do?

Weather has been perfect! Picked up a friend in Jacksonville. He will be with us until Thursday morning. Has been a blast. My bride/Admiral has revolutionized boat cooking!!!!! shes the best!!!!!!

Leaving for Vero beach in an hour (Cocoa Beach now). Weather and boat have been way better then expected!
