Tank sender for starboard holding tank on 53 my

This holding tank which is for I to its the mid stateroom on a 53 seems inaccessible
Is there an access to put a new tank level fitting into it.

The tank is in the generator room. You can get to it. You just have to be small.

Mine is under the dinette rear seat. Look towards the starboard wall and you’ll be able to see it. It is tough to get to, but it is changeable.

Do l have to make a hatch as nothing is on view

I’ll be at my boat tomorrow. I’ll take some photos and post them. If memory serves me there is an opening in the corner. There is also a buss bar with lots of wires in the same area. The switch on the top is red. Not easy to get to , sending photos tomorrow.

I just climbed in there from the gen room to get to mine to remove/replace fittings, etc. I have no hatch either.

Apparently, there is a hatch that was either from the factory or cut out by a very good carpenter. It looks original, but who knows. Hopefully you can see the tank and the fixtures. The sending unit is that big red hockey puck.

I suspect that the big red hockey puck in Seven's photo of his holding tank is not the sender for the tank but a pneumatic sender for the bilge alarm. There's a bell shaped pick up low in the bilge connected to a tube ending in the puck. Water compresses the air in the line which closes a diaphragm sounding an alarm. It's on or off. Doesn't read % full. Of course there could be anything under that red dome by now.

The sender for the holding tank must be somewhere else.

I took one off of the the birth tank and switched it out for a new one. I’m gonna pull that hatch and trace it but I’m almost positive. It’s the indicator for the tank being 3/4 full. I’ll let everybody know once I check it in a week or so when I get back up there

I have found tha access to the tank top and sender
Removed the seat to the rear of the galley and there was a hole cut out to the top of the tank
The square bolt on the top of the tank was on view with timited access
Unfortunately I cannot shift the square fitting yet
