Recent posts regarding vessels that either that encountered significant seas, or sustained damage in big seas, mentioned possible damage to the 'tabbing' of, I assume, where the topsides are connected to the hull at the gunnels, which doesn
t sound good. Since last Fall I was in the biggest sea I even want to be in in a 43'MY (13-17 footers, 55mph wind bursts), maybe I should look for tabbing issues. Where would I look for such tabbing issues. If tab issues, i.e. broken tabs, were found, would I lay in new cloth and epoxy, etc.
