Hello Paul and Congrats.

Tried to PM you but guess they're still working on bugs.

Are you going to be doing painting?

I'm located in Myrtle Beach and am looking to get my 1973 38 DCMY repainted. Was wondering if y'all are going to be doing this and maybe a ball park price.

Please e-mail if you like

Hi Dan,

This in our plans.

I ran into an old friend Friday who said he is now doing gel coat and spray painting. He is one of the very first people I met as an independent 12 years ago.

Alfonso is going to stop by and see me next week.

Usually a re-paint in this area is running about 200.00 per foot for the hull and about 250.00 per foot for the top side.

This is for a boat with no other repairs required such as gel coat stress cracks and such. These repairs are time consuming and will cause the price to rise.

So based on a really good vessel without additional repairs, such as your 38' the price would be about 17100.00

All materials are extra.

Thanks Paul,

That sounds better than some prices I've heard around here. I purchased the boat in Atlantic Beach 3 years ago. Actually stopped by what is now your place on my way south.

Hopefully I will be in touch soon as my paint fund grows near to completion. It's amazing how slow the pennies add up sometime!

What is the largest boat you can haul with your travel lift? I am pretty sure I will be in Wilmington this summer although I lost (temporarily I hope) my slip up the Cape Fear River. I don't feel good about leaving the boat on the intracoastal during Hurricane Season. At any rate I will want to get some work done this winter and have been looking for a new yard since Coastal Carolina Yacht Yard closed. Is there a good prop shop with the scan system and the ability to dynamically balance the wheels near Sneads Ferry? Is there a taxi in Sneads Ferry that would take me back to my car in Wilmington? Look forward to working with you.

Place looks Nice, hey Marina owners that are smart and have talent are you starting a new Trend!

I need a Thermostat for a onan 8K MDKD do you think you might have one?
Might be able to find the part # if you need that. I don't even know what it looks like it did not have one in it. Good chance that's why it ran cool last summer!

I found a thermostat today, but it does not look like any thermostat I have seen before. It is very small, and two wires attach to it. do you have a part number ?

I looked for a part # in the manual it shows a picture but of coarse no #.
It definitely does not have any wires on it. That does sound like a Strange one. The picture show it to look like a typical one just a little smaller.
Thanks for looking and remembering.
Dan
