Looks just like when mine was done 13 years ago. The mahogany is laminated with epoxy and maybe it accepts and integrates the tons of 5200 they use when the actuators get installed? Guaranteed that they are not trying to save $100. There is a reason. You'll love the improvement in roll control.
They will want to connect the stab controls to your GPS so it goes to inactive if you are moving in reverse or not moving. Ask if it needs GPS connections for both helm and flybridge units. We had to make sure we turned on our helm GPS if we were operating from the flybridge so we didn't have to override the "no GPS" signal from the bridge.

Congratulations on doing this project!

Ours are incredibly effective... totally renewed the install about 6 years ago. we glassed the fins which had been installed as painted foam! Redid the seals too of course when we pulled the fins out for glassing.

I really like the hydraulic tank you have.... ours is huge and is mounted on the aft bulkhead over the fuel manifold in the Starboard ER. Takes up way too much space.

We are underway from San Diego to Newport Beach at this moment. The stabilizers are fantastic, however you can’t do anything about the short steep headsets we are experiencing, but it is livable. No rolling at all. As far as the gps speed cut out, have not been able to get that to work yet. John
