Just a recap she's a 1974 45c, QSM11 670hp with 1.75:1 ZF gears, power steering, 12KW NL genny, 1100gpd watermaker, RPY 450 compressed flake ice machine, two 24K btu a/c units, three station glendinning electronic controls, weather station, etc. My friends Clark and Connie have owned her for 24 years and plan to keep her, LOTS of work but well worth it.

OMG - AMAZING - Absolutely gorgeous !!!! New or old that's the prettiest boat I've seen in a long, long time!

Congratulations on an impeccable job!

WOW! I'm so glad you went and got some amazing photographs. That cockpit, engine room and bridge are enough to make anyone jealous. I'm sure it was costly, but for me, their money was well spent. Its not to over the top, and the color works great for the boat. Like said before, had you shown it to me on a piece of paper I would've told you you were crazy! AWESOME JOB!

STUNNING!!! Who did all the work? I am looking into doing something similer with a series 1 36c and would love to crunch some numbers with them...

WOW! Beautiful boat. Sure makes it hard to understand why anyone would want anything else. You couldn't touch that with anything new on the market.

Simply amazing! These pics motivate the hell out of me. Beautiful!!!!!!!!! I may go tear something out of my boat and start working tonight........

bet they spent between 300 and 500k on that job

bet they spent between 300 and 500k on that job
And worth every penny. That boat makes mine look like an old dog. Beautiful work!

I want to echo the "Thanks for posting the pics!" remark. It is always great to see what is possible. Between these 'after' shots, and yachtsmanbill's 'during' shots, we are really getting an education.

Many thanks,
DAN

Running back from the Bahamas, loafing along @ 21kts (towing my 20' skiff)..

The QSM11's/ 45c are a sweet combination, she tops out at 34kts @ 87% load. We could tweak for more speed but it is down right scary on the pegs. She doesn't keel walk but instead rides up on the keel, then lays over to one side, quick fingers on the trim tabs make doable but not enjoyable. Anything below 30kts is comfortable. The detriot roar is long gone thanks to Marine Exhaust Systems, cockpit folks can now carry on a soft conversation underway, no smoke or smell. I can't tally the curse words accumulated during the project, we laugh about it NOW but it was one hell of a undertaking. Thanks again for all the kind words.

A truly awesome rebirth! Congratulations
