The real problme is that they've figured out how to circumvent the CAPTCHA system - without that the bots don't work.

So.... I'd be all over the vBulletin folks.

I've also done some things to lessen the odds that the bots can beat the CAPTCHA to hopefully reduce the bogus registrations but there are still ways they can get around them. I probably can't stop them but hopefully I can slow them down.

I can't fathom that enough people are stupid enough to respond to this sort of crap to make it worthwhile. Oh well, never overestimate the intelligence of the masses. Just look at all the Searays out on the water.
