is there difference in brands or just price, any opinions?
Marineco, Hubbel, Charles etc.

I just bought a 50 foot 125-250 volt 50 amp cord new on ebay.Search for "yachtdocone". The reserve was $250 plus shipping--$35. DO NOT BUY ONE at WM -- they are around 700 BEANS. Mine is a Marinco with 8awg4C cable and beautiful.Includes red LED indicator light--power is "on". Cured all my problems. DO NOT consider a 25 foot unit-- I used 40 feet plus on my boat.
I think they all fall into ABYC standards. Hubbell is a little cheesy on the plug covers and Charles is just kind of an oddball for that stuff. ws

I didnt realize you were asking about "sore" power cables. LOL ws
