Soot on Fresh Water side

8v92's twin turbos. 1991
Looks like I'm getting soot on the fresh water side.
I run distilled water and Napa Cool.
has black almost like oil looking stuff. Put finger in, and when you rub it. stuff goes away
Also leaving a little black some on horizon, and cockpit / transom area is now getting a lot of soot.

Pulled the startboard side turbos. checked exhaust side clearance on the turbo blades. it's
about .35 seems a lot.
Could the soot be coming from the water cooled side of the turbo? or is there another issue?
also, the outboard side turbo had a lot of rusty water droplet and in the exhasut elbow

When pulling the turbos, water was black

Both turbo's pulled to check for water leaks

Boat is located merrit island fl.
Anyone know of DMS turbo in Palm Beach Gardens. Was told he does good work.
