I think the time has come to sell our 1968 38DC. It's not so much an economic as much as a time management decision. There are just too many other things we need to get done in the next few years. The boat is currently in Chicago and the rent is paid for her slip through the boating season. I know I'll take a bath when it's sold - heaven knows we have discussed that ad nuaeum here. I'm pretty sure that I'll list Smooth Move with a broker, but I have these questions for those with some experience in the Great Lakes region. Is it better to list with a broker in Chicago with the large population and the upscale lakeshore lifestyle or somewhere up in Michigan (Holland, Grand Haven area) with it's more relaxed and educated (my opinion) boating population? I would lean slightly to the Michigan approach, but it's close. Does anyone know a broker in either area they feel would do a good job with this listing? I'm interested in any and all opinions. Thanks
Eric
